Partner with me on making of aeroplane body In Nigeria - Entrepreneur tells FG

An Ekiti State entrepreneur, Adeyemi Ajewole,
has called on the Nigerian government and philanthropists to partner with him in the making of aeroplane body in the country.


Adewole, who recently brought an aeroplane he constructed to the field of Federal Polytechnic Oko (Okopoly),  Anambra State,  said he wants to create job opportunity for the millions of Nigeria globally.


"Some people, from there reactions towards me, it was as if I am a mad man"

The entrepreneur, popularly known as YESCO TECH, a graduate of Engineering Department, Okopoly, explained that the aeroplane took him 7 weeks to complete and spent #850,000.

According to him, "Entrepreneurial is good for self-determined business persons. For more effective economy,  Nigerian government need to patner with entrepreneurs financially.

"Factors that affect entrepreneurs in Nigeria has to do with unstable economy, devaluation of naira to dollars, insecurity, unsteady electricity and bad roads."

Ajewole noted that in the course of his constructing the aeroplane,  so many people saw him as a mad man.


In his words: "Discouragement was heavy. Some people, from there reactions towards me, it was as if I am a mad man. They thought I don't know what I was doing. There was financial problem and there was no workshop."

Thanking God Almighty,  the Ekiti State entrepreneur, based in Agwuata and photographer in Okopoly, pointed out that at the completion of the aeroplane,  he received a lot of prestigious reactions and comments from many people.


"I presented the aeroplane to the Agwuata local government on October 1, 2020, Nigeria independent celebration, at Ekwulobia Stadium and some of the governmental representatives promised to call me for the next development.  Up till now, there has been no call, no message," he asserted.

Ajewole said he made money from photography and used it  to pay his school fees, when he was a student in the Institutions.
He added: "Majorly, now am into  solar power inverter installation, wiring of building, DSTV, CCTV cameras installation, Canon / Selephy photo printer repair and maintenance.


"I have a lot of technical abilities to showcase and generate job opportunities for many unemployed Nigerians- but no capital."
