Nollywood mourns again as Adewale Adeyemo dies

A few hours after a tribute night was held for Nollywood star, Murphy Afolabi, another veteran Yoruba actor, Prince Adewale Adeyemo, passed away on Monday morning after a brief illness. 

This sad event came hours after the Yoruba film industry held a night of tribute for Afolabi, who passed away on May 14, 2023. 

A colleague of Adeyemo, Kunle Afod, posted on his Instagram page: “God you know best, RIP Prince Ademola Adeyemo, He passed on early hour of today after a brief illness. God will comfort all his family friends and colleagues." 

Recent weeks have thrown Nollywood into some form of turbulent times, from the loss of veterans like, Murphy Afolabi, Saint Obi and now Adewale Adeyemo.
